Minimum System Requirements

To run Perl Studio for Windows, you should have the following:

• Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 (Intel) operating system with Service Pack 4 installed or Windows 2000
• Administrative Privileges on the system
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 (SP2) or higher if running on NT 4 or Win 95
• Pentium-class PC ( 300 MHz or higher recommended )
• 64 megabytes of RAM ( 128 MB recommended )
• Disk Space required
  • Web Download: 2.5MB before installation and 4.0MB after the install is complete
• Super VGA monitor (with the screen resolution set to at least 800 x 600, small fonts setting)

Optional System Requirements

To run the psAccess Wizard that is included with the Perl Studio for Windows download, you should have the following:

• Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 (Intel) operating system with Service Pack 4 installed or Windows 2000
• Microsoft Office 2000 or Microsoft Access 2000

To run the psViewer program that is included with the Perl Studio for Windows download, you should have the following:

• Microsoft Office 2000 or Microsoft Access 2000

To run the AyerMail program that is included with the Perl Studio for Windows download, you should have the following:

• SMTP mail server connection

Perl Studio uses the standard InstallShield software for the software installation. You must close all open software programs before running the install program. Also, if you tried to install the pstudio.exe file and it did not install, then you need to re-boot your computer, before trying to install the pstudio.exe again.
